First things first - The Basics • From what they've gathered so far, the Cosmic Demolition Crew's purpose is to destroy worlds, supposedly for the sake of profit. Their method for gathering workers and affiliates rely on the form of a contract, though the details of said contract are currently unknown. Also, the actual context of a consignee's consent also seems unnecessary, as saying 'yes' to anything appears to suffice for their 'terms'. Given that the CDC has the capability of destroying their own planet, it'd be in their best interest to follow their orders for now. • The CDC has granted them access to their supplies. Take advantage of the rations, clothing, weaponry, technology and other opportunities offered to them. 1. Survey Corps Communication/Chain of Command • While they're all under the commission of the CDC and thus expected to follow their orders, soldiers are ultimately expected to follow the Chain of Command previously established in the Survey Corps above all else. Erwin Smith will retain his role as Commander, and both Hange Zoë and Levi will serve as his Squad Leaders. All concerns, complaints, etc. should be taken to one of the three if possible. • In order to preserve communication between the Survey Corps as a whole, soldiers are to contact one of the three superior officers via electronic message every 24 hours. This will act as a form of attendance for when they're unable to establish any sort of meeting. • Meetings and briefings will be held every 72 hours unless soldiers are currently partaking in a mission. 2. Long Term Objectives with the CDC • For the moment, focus on completing their assignments on Ajna while simultaneously gathering as much information as they can about the CDC as a whole. • Unless doing so will endanger their lives directly (via strictly classified records), inform one of the Survey Corps superior officers about their assigned mission objectives. 3. Presenting Titans to the General Public • Since there's always a possibility that the threat of non-sentient titans can expand beyond their own world, it's be good to inform the other recruits of both their nature and the prime method of disposing them. The following is a short list containing their main traits, and should be shared with other CDC recruits if asked. • Titans: - Are humanoid like creatures that can range from 3M to 60M in height. - Are surprisingly light in proportion to their body size. - Possess no sexual organs or any part of the digestive tract beyond the stomach. - Need nothing more than sunlight in order to function and survive, and even then the lack of sunlight only seems to put them in suspended animation or a coma-like state. This means that breathing nor eating is necessary, and whatever they consume is immediately regurgitated once the stomach-like cavity becomes full. - Don't need food to survive, as previously stated, but their intent for living so far seems to derive from the need to <u>consume humans</u>. - Show no interest in any other sort of flora or fauna. - Can regenerate skin, bone, and muscle, and not even decapitation guarantees death. - Have likely killed over 95% of the human population, and have consumed nearly 250,000 people within the span of one season. - Can only be killed by removing a 1M long, 10CM wide section from the nape of their neck. This will successfully sever the head from the remainder the body and render it impossible for them to regenerate. - Emit steam at high temperatures. Be mindful and keep close range combat at a minimum to prevent potential scalding, among other things. - Should be approached with extreme caution, if at all. If one is spotted, approach a Survey Corps member for assistance. - While titans are dangerous to the human population, there's one who's proven his loyalty to humanity and their cause. - Eren Jaeger possesses the ability to shift into a 15M titan. It's heavily muscular and fully skinned aside from its lack of lips that expose its teeth, with shoulder length brown hair, a pointed nose, pointed ears and green eyes. - Do not attack or harm Eren Jaeger. He is an ally that can be used to dispose of other titans and aid with missions assigned by the CDC. 4. 3DMG Supplies • Since there's only a finite supply of gas and blades available, it's advised that they rely on the machinery and weaponry provided by the CDC to conserve their 3DMG usage. Use only in emergencies and/or when scouting for the enemy. • The Supply Drop provided enough gas for every member to receive one refill of their canisters. No blades were found. 5. General Public Relations with Other CDC Recruits • Through the CDC's organization system, the current Survey Corps members have been split accordingly by teams possessing specific roles. Along with that, they've also been assigned to different rovers, at least for Ajna. • So far, four teams exist: Red, Blue, Green, and Orange. • Along with that, rovers house five members maximum. • While Survey Corps Chain of Command remains active and shall be prioritized above all else, it's also necessary to follow the orders assigned by their team leaders. Along with that, they must work with the other CDC recruits in order to succeed with their missions. • Approach all CDC recruits with caution, but don't dismiss their aid. Take note of the skill sets and unnatural abilities of their fellow recruits. Gather information, but do so smartly. 6. Potential Skill Sets • Languages. Upon observation, English seems to be the most prominent language among the consignees. At the very least, try to learn what's necessary to engage in basic conversation. • Machinery. Rovers seem to require a specific ID to be driven, but it'd be useful to familiarize themselves with some of the controls in case their driver becomes incapacitated. This also applies to other forms of sophisticated technology: while they're not expected to get into the fine details of how something works, at least learn how to operate the bare necessities. • Weaponry. With a limited gas/blade supply for the 3DMG, they'll need to rely more heavily on their issued weaponry. Practice with their firearms, or go to someone with more experience to be taught properly. • Miscellaneous. If ever presented with the opportunity to learn anything particularly useful, please take advantage of it. The length of their contract at the CDC is currently unknown, and so it'd be in their best interest to learn as much as they can for both future missions and their eventual return to their home world. --- 1. Memory Discrepancies • Skimmed over for a reason. 2. Character Resurrection • While their methods are unknown, the CDC appears to possess the resources to resurrect the dead. • If a former soldier from our world appears, regardless if it's a Trainee, Garrison, Survey Corps or Military Police Brigade member, refer them to Erwin Smith, Hange Zoë, or Levi. • It's currently unknown whether the CDC will resurrect a consignee if they die during a mission. Therefore, tread each mission with caution. (Note: memory discrepancies will not be brought up as its own subject, but instead melded into the resurrection discussion as a way to help the 'dead' keep up to date. If anything, memory loss will be treated as a strange side-effect by the recruitment of the CDC whose purpose remains unknown, and so their timelines will be briefly touched upon to ensure that everyone's informed of their world's important events. Note, the latest timeline point will be around Castle Utgard.) 3. CDC Contracts • As previously stated, some sort of contract is necessary for the CDC to recruit workers, but it seems like the contents being consented to can be anything. Please discuss the details of their contracts individually with Erwin Smith. 4. Annie • Aside from Eren, the CDC has chosen to recruit another titan shifter: Annie Leonhart. She's already revealed her titan form to much of the CDC and their recruits, and so it's smart to assume that she's willing to kill if provoked, even if she'll face the consequences for it. • Approach her with extreme caution. Do not divulge details about the Survey Corps. |
