我選的是:介紹了 the differences between the wakefulness and the sleep.) 而且還not hygienic. 還有理論是是因為Climate change, Ice Age到來導致high elecation 地區 food不夠吃, 而這個地區本來crops grow poor because of the short growing season(有題目問:這裡 提到這句話是為了? 有個是Traumatic、還有transition(也不知道記沒記竄...) ==== Listening ==== Conversation1: 一個學生到書店買書,一個書店裡的人幫他在電腦裡查找.(第一題:這學生來書店的 目的是?find the book he needs for class.) 這女人說可能是 由於這本書的名字等相關信息輸錯了之類的原因.(有題目問: What possible reasons did the speaker mention for the difficulty in finding this book? 我選了relevant information is misspelled in the record 和 the title of the book is wrong...) 我選的是in order to decide the urgent extent of this student's condition.) 他們書店有 時會carry more than one book.可是查找之後仍未發現有這本書...(真折騰- -) 這時候,這女人建議學生去the science book store across the street to find the book, 因為那個書店是專門賣science books的. 我選的he suggests that the science book store should list the book information...) 學生主要問了the water cycle的問題,就是水怎麼從海洋到陸地,再到大氣,最後回歸 海洋的過程;學生不能理解the evaporation and condensation of water. ==== Speaking ==== T1: What is the gathering place for the people in your town? T2: Agree or disagree with the statement: It brings more benefits to move students to a class with large number of students from smaller class? T3: Reading-A student proposed to close the campus coffeehouse because he thinks (1) Few students use this coffeehouse and every time he passes by it, there are few people in it, which is a waste because this house can be used for other purposes. (2) The food in the coffeehouse is not good. Once he and his friends bought some food there but the cakes and muffins are very dry... Listening-Two students have a talk on this proposal. The female student does not like the proposal. (1) She likes the caffeehouse because it is never too crowded and she can read some books, bring her laptop there and do some work for her paper there. Also many students like studying there even for the final exam. She prefers this coffeehouse to the library because students can work while eat, which is not allowed in the library. (2) She thinks that the student who wrote the proposal has not been to the coffeehouse for a while. She found the food delicious when she went there last time. The food there has been improved a lot. The new manage of the coffeehouse often adds some new healthful food that is both delicious and good for students' health. T4: Reading- flagship species is used for people to represent a threatened habitat and arouse the attention of the public to protect all the endangered animals. Listening-The prof. cited the example of M (不認識...是一種動物),which has gorgeous and colorful feathers. And this species has been threatened because in the forest they live in, people cut down too many trees, which is necessary for their food and nesting. And some other animals such as other birds, bats and frogs are also have trouble because they rely on the trees for habitat. So their population declined as a result of the reducing trees. And some people made small books that provide some informaiton and colorful pictures about M and distribute these books in order to arouse people's attention. The local people donated money to set up a protective place that allows no one to cut trees. And the population of these endangered species increased along with the growing number of trees. T5: Listening The female student has just moved out of her dorm but there is no Internet connection in her new room. However, almost every day she needs to send e-mails and do some research for her paper with the help of the Internet. The male students offered two solutions. (1) Ask the Internet company to set up the Internet connection for her. But the fees are expensive. (2) Use the free Internet access at the computer centre on campus. But there are sometimes too crowded. And the female student needs to do her work out of school because she doesn't have many lessons. T6: Listening The prof. begins the lecture by saying that authors need to decide lots of things before writing their work and one of the important decisions is how to narrate the story. So the main topic is the types of the narrator. There are two kinds of narrators, one is objective narrator and the other is A ( 貌似是Animation...) narrator. The former one can only tell readers the action of the characters and the readers have to guess the meaning of their conversation and the words that they are saying. The prof. cited an example that one man and woman are taking a trip. The latter one not only provides the information such as the action and words, but also tells readers almost everything including the feelings and the mood of the charaacter such as being nervous. Skeptical. (1) The material found in the breaking of the bone can not prove the existence of red blood vessel. It is more likely to be other material such as the reddish mineral. (2) Sphere also appears in other animals that do not have bone tissues. For example, it may be the traces left by the bacteria colony that lived in the bone leg after the dinosaur died. (3) Collagen can not remain as long as a period of 70 million years. So it is more that the collagen comes from other recent sources such as the human skin of some researcher who handled this bone leg before. T2: Do you agree with the following statement: It is one of the best way that parents help their children prepare for adult life to encourage them to take part-time jobs. |
