Behind each photo can be found the date when the photo was taken.
In all of the photos there's a small, skinny boy with bright green eyes and curly blond hair. Most of them are dated between 1949 and 1952, and the kid must be around ages 7-10. In all of those, he has a wide and happy smile on his face, full of energy and childish innocence and excitement. Some of them are taken indoors and in some of them he can be seen playing outside, with some scratches and light bruises on his legs (no doubt from climbing to trees and crawling into tiny spaces, things that kids do.).

Then there's one picture where the kid is sitting on a lap of a woman with similar blond curly hair, that's neatly tied behind her head with a ponytail. Her posture is straight and just screams dignity and discipline. The resemblance between them is so great that there's no question that they are related. There's a moderate, but content, smile on both of their faces. Behind them is standing a bulky man with a dark hair, hand resting gently on woman's shoulder. At first he looks like he doesn't belong in the picture with them, but after taking a closer look there can bee some resemblances with him and the kid. The shape of their noses and mouths. This photo is dated 1951.

The date of the last photo is 1956 and there's another note on the backside of it: J. S. Callensburg, Pennsylvania. The kid is now about 14 years old. His face has started to turn more slim, losing some of the baby fat despite his round rosy cheeks. The blond hair is also longer and more styled than in previous ones and he's wearing an expensive looking boys school uniform, with a small cross hanging from his neck. But the biggest difference between this picture to others is his smile. It's more charming and pleasing. His lips are carefully curved up and the way how he looks at the camera behind his long eyelashes is almost flirty. The way how he stands and carries himself in that photo, head slightly tilted to left is very feminine.
