KURAMA

2. what (if any) is a good, safe touch for your character?

Kurama adjusts to most touch through his interactions with the village children. So, because he's used to dealing with them he's actually pretty used to holding hands, hugging, etc. He could probably also give piggy-back rides or carry kids although his stamina is nowhere near good enough to do that for long.

Outside the context of children he gets a bit more fussy, although if one is looking for a kind of touch Kurama will never object to.............. many times he will say something even if it's fine. It's just who he is. So, a person could rest a hand on his arm and he'd ask why that was necessary even if he was completely fine with it happening. Even if it's with a lover he's still usually asking about affectionate gestures... he asks and then teases the main character for wanting to pat his head, for example.

For maximum Kurama-approval for touch, don't take him by surprise. That said, it's pretty funny when he's caught off-guard so also don't worry about it.

5. is your character better at receiving touch or giving it? under what circumstances?

There's definitely a bit less overthinking when it comes to giving certain kinds of touch. It's easier for him to guide someone's hand without thinking, or do any of those child-wrangling gestures (i.e. would absolutely just take someone's hand in a crowd) or move someone to shelter them behind himself. As a lover he does want to do those little romantic gestures for a partner and wants to take the lead.

As said above, he can be tetchy when receiving touch. It's mostly fine if no harm was meant- so, again, he can quickly forgive children or partners but is likely to squabble a bit with anyone else.

6. how comfortable is your character with the ‘professional’ type of touching/gestures? (i.e. handshakes, having a card handy, small talk, etc)

Thank goodness being a god doesn't require much physical touch........... I'm repurposing this question to also say that Kurama's fine with more things in the context of a game. A handshake for sportsmanship is completely fine, after all, as is any game that requires some aspect of physical touch or interaction to succeed.

... altho now i'm imagining kurama trying to play twister and, man, that's a disaster, he's not flexible enough for that shit

10. are there any gestures or touches that your character shares with a friend/team/loved one that are a type of code between them?

Kurama's a nerd so I don't doubt he would, some day, make an actual physical code gesture between him and another person........ he doesn't have one yet but he would delight in trying to pick one subtle but obvious enough.

Otherwise, most of his gestures are pretty open-book, considering how Rune Factory uses the canned poses (lmao). He folds his arms when he's closed off, he pumps his fist when he's excited for nerd stuff, he puts his hands to his hips when he's lecturing...
