Gaius on Fanerel: She's always been an interesting enough sort, someone who catches his attention in their obvious similarities(As in their lack of being able to socialise properly + unable to get their feelings across to others without making a stupid of themselves) However, what with how he's been growing to trust people more lately, he almost wonders if he's becoming a person Fanerel probably doesn't want anything to do with.
He still considers her something of a friend, or at least something like an ally if she needs or wants it; however approaching her seems to be a little uncomfortable lately if only because he's not entirely sure where he sits in her eyes anymore.

Kaneki on Fanerel: You smell strange. Are you human? What are you. Can I trust you? Part of me says no. Probably food. Dangerous. There's something dangerous there. Watch her with both eyes. Make sure she knows you're not afraid to show your strength, but also show her that you don't mean her any harm. Not directly, at least. I'll kill you if you threaten me. Or those I care about. Or if I'm hungry and you get in the way. Approach with caution.
