so the first part is just a bunch of fighting honestly, the only significant bit from what I can tell is when the person (ako?? idk whichever ninja needs to calm the fuck down) yells WHAT CAN ISHIDA SAKICHI DO?? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO LET MURASHIGE DIE and he has traumatic flashbacks when they drag out the kid, sakon says "let's all just calm down for a minute" and angry ninja person stabs him and gen and forces sakichi to choose between saving the kid or saving them

he's upset because he keeps talking himself up about I BELIEVE I CAN FLYYYYY and yet he hasn't managed to save anyone, and he has a flashback to baren... it looks like baren's basically telling him "prayers aren't granted just by praying" / just talking is useless and sakichi's like I FUCKIN KNOW THAT BUT I GOTTA START SOMEWHERE

and he says "if I can't even do that then what can I do???" and ninja jerk says "nothing" while slitting a throat, so that's fun

they say "you can't save anyone" and then lose their shit over his expression, sakichi's yelling about how he won't forgive them and they're just like "well I'm bored now let's end this" and tell him to watch

sakichi has flashbacks about hideyoshi and sakon and basically despairs about being helpless and is pleading with them to stop, then SURPRISE

he recognizes the hairpin and is like !!! while everybody else is like "wtf is that noise" and then the twins show off

okuni's like LONG TIME NO SEE SAKICCHAN WOW YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT, baren says CHIN UP COMMANDER (or general or however you wanna translate taishou, that's cute)

sakichi's like WAH YOU'RE ALIVE and okuni's like "save it for later kid" lmao

baren says "who are you? ishida sakichi, right now you're not the only one who can protect this town", basically tells him to pull himself together, and he says "there's one thing you can do: don't let yourself break"

he says if sakichi can do that then they can open up the path for him, and okuni says "guide us, okay?" and then it says ON THAT WIND in giant font, in case you missed the part where the wind symbolism was important

fighting fighting fighting, the ninjas use a smoke screen and one of them is like LET'S GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE but one of them (ako??) is like NOOOO I GOTTA BE USEFUL TO TANPO-SAN (or whoever) but then goemon shows up and spirits 'em off anyway, ako swears to kill sakichi next time

meanwhile sakichi's asking if the kid can be saved, gen says she stopped the bleeding and that she thinks they'll be alright but they gotta leave it up to the doctor, sakichi apologizes--I can't tell if it's just to sakon or if it's to everyone, for not being able to protect them

okuni's like GEEZ SAKICCHAN WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT YOU and baren's like yeah we figured you'd get your ass kicked asap ya weakling and sakichi says I WAITED FOR YOU

they're both like "..." and he says he thought it was weird that he suddenly couldn't hear the villagers anymore, and that they must've helped evacuate them and gen's like "yeah that seems like you guys"

sakon's like "so uh who are these guys" and sakichi's like "UH... WELL I GUESS THEY'RE OUR HOSTS" but the word he uses can mean both in the sense of a landlord and a parasite LMFAO

baren says "hey hey are you still planning on being a freeloader??" and okuni says "yeah we're not doing that anymore"

they they say that as the 8th heads of the kumou clan (or household, w/e), they've decided to support him... I'm not sure if "hi no moto" is supposed to be the name of a place or if they just mean WE'LL MAKE YOU INTO THE BEST OF THE BEST KIDDO but yeah THE END
