anyway it sounds like baren and sakichi were arguing and then okuni chimes in with "ooh what are we talking about? tell me all about it~?"

okuni's just making sympathetic noises like OH MY and sakichi's like "NO THAT'S NOT--" but baren just talks over him like "so of course that just totally destroyed the atmosphere" and then I think he says that because of that the male customer went home??? bc he's like "ALL BECAUSE OF THIS ONE DUMBASS WHO CAN'T READ THE ATMOSPHERE ahhh I feel bad for him"

anyway then he says "so anyway apparently then sakichi FINALLY realized what kind of place he was in, so then he tried to jump out of the window, but he was stopped" and then I swear to god I replayed this bit five thousand times but it's TOO FUCKING FAST I HATE BAREN

my best guess is that he's saying sakichi's naivety is laughable and that sakichi should be ashamed of himself for not taking advantage of the opportunity when the women were surrounding him in the hallway because "shameful is he who spurns a woman's invitation" and he's like IF IT WERE ME I WOULD'VE DONE SO MUCH BETTER

then he's like "but in sakicchan's case it was gengetsu" and then I THINK he's saying that even though sakichi is headstrong gengetsu (would have/must have/idk) turned the tables on him... basically that sakichi is no match for gen LMFKJHG which okay, fair

and then I think he's saying sakichi's way of getting straight to the point when he talks is awful lmfjkfh and sakichi being like "'well I felt awkward' SO WHAT WHO CARES but okay fine it's fine" and then I think he's talking about how he told gen that "sakicchan is a good guy who is pure and naive and he might show up someday" and then like "HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW HE WAS GONNA SHOW UP LIKE TEN SECONDS LATER"

then he starts whining at okuni like OKUNIIIIII WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOOOO WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH and okuni's trying to say she already heard this story from gengetsu but baren won't shut up so she punches him... sakichi's like "oi are you okay?!" and okuni's just like "toooo long" and sakichi just mutters "you're the one who brought it up"
