47 starts right from the end of the last one with sakichi asking nobunaga who he is

nobunaga asks what he means and sakichi says "I've never heard of my lord having a prosthetic hand so who the hell are you"

nobunaga's just like HM but before he can say anything else there's suddenly enemies shooting?? I GUESS I don't quite understand what's happening here but I think they're hearing the battle from where they are...

anyway nobunaga says "they were faster than I thought" and sakichi's like WHAT WHEN DID-- but nobunaga shoves him down

then he drops down himself like I'M SOOOO TIREEEEEEEEEED and sakichi is like ?!?!?!?!

all of a sudden nobunaga's speech style has changed and he sounds like (baren) a punk now... he's like "stop making that face I don't bite!!!" and sakichi is like UHHH OKAY... SUDDENLY HE SEEMS TOTALLY DIFFERENT...

notbunaga says "oi oi you said it yourself, didn't you? 'you're not my lord'"

he pinches the bridge of his nose like UGHHH I'VE BEEN PUTTING MY POWER INTO MY EYES BUT IT'S TOUUUUUGH.... I look like him but it's so hard to match his insight (or sth like that... not quite sure on that but basically IT'S HARDER THAN IT LOOKS WEH)

sakichi is like "you're... a body double?!" (fun fact: he says "kagemusha" which is specifically the body double of a military leader... it's literally "shadow war person" lmao)

notbunaga says "the shadow of the devil king... I LOOK PRETTY GOOD HUH"

sakichi's like "since when?!?!" and has a flashback... he says "from the beginning?!" and nobunaga's like yep every time we've met has been me

sakichi is like OKAY BUT WHY ARE YOU TELLING *ME* SOMETHING THIS IMPORTANT TO THE ODA CLAN I'M... ???

notbunaga says "you said 'I will not give the orochi to nobunaga'" and there's a flashback to sakichi being dumb in oda's court

notbunaga holds out a hand and says "let's join forces"

he says his goal is the orochi's seal, so their interests line up

sakichi thinks "so this man is on the side against the orochi..." and he says "but doesn't my lord want the power of the orochi?"

dude says "the real one does yeah" and sakichi's like "but you're different?" and he says yep

sakichi says "I'm sorry but I can't trust you... I don't even know if it's true that you're a body double, right before my eyes you said you wanted to use the power of the orochi and cross the ocean to conquer the world"

dude says "LIIIIKE I SAAAAID I was imitating him!! I had to say that!!!"

he says "if there's no way you can believe me then just ask dokuro hozuki"

sakichi's like "is she an acquaintance of yours?" and dude says "a long time ago, yes"

he says "well I won't tell you to have faith in me right away. You want the scroll too right? first let's work together"

sakichi says "wouldn't it be faster for you to just go take it" and notbunaga is like "are you telling me 'GO AND STEAL IT'? you sure are arrogant" LMFAO

he says he can't bc he's being monitored... so he doesn't wanna fuck up and do anything too shady

sakichi says "so you're saying you want to cooperate but you aren't going to actually do anything?" and notbunaga is like IF I COULD'VE DONE IT BY MYSELF I WOULDN'T BE TALKING TO YOU

he says "to be honest I'm kind of at an impasse, but I've got to take measures before he gathers all of the scrolls" and on the next page "but that person doesn't trust anybody. No one knows where the scoll is"

sakichi says "so a body double is comparatively useless" and dude's like WOW YOU'RE GETTING MORE ARROGANT BY THE SECOND INCREDIBLE

sakichi asks who all knows that he's a double, dude says ranmaru, nobutada, nobukatsu, some official dudes, dokuro hozuki, and then mitsutoshi, the kouga ninja girl sakichi met in the castle

notbunaga says she's stuck with him so if sakichi runs into trouble he can rely on her, sakichi thinks "so it was on this man's order that the twins escaped azuchi", seems like she's the one that let them go or showed them the way out or w/e

notbunaga says "there's no time. the orochi is already dwelling inside its vessel. Even now, it's waiting to fully awaken inside of someone"

he says it's about time to leave and sakichi says "WAIT! why... why are you joining forces with me? If you want comrades then there should be lots of people much stronger than me who are opposing the orochi"

notbunaga says "...the wind"

"the wind is blowing" and sakichi is like "wind?"

notbunaga says "you're even willing to let your friends get injured. You're like a gale"

(I think anyway... for "friends" the furigana is like "this side" or "us" so idk if he's including nobunaga in that but probably not)

sakichi's like "wha-- well now I need to know why even more"

The text says "no matter how many times I'm broken, I stand up again" and there's a bunch of flashbacks of sakichi Suffering, and then him saying he's off to rescue his siblings

notbunaga says "your tactless frankness is astonishing, so I got interested in you. that's all there is to it"

(sorta copying what sakichi said to him last chapter; also the word he uses can mean "simple honesty" too but since it's sakichi I went with "tactless frankness" lmfao)

sakichi thinks "this man... is it okay to trust him?"

notbunaga's like WELL ANYWAY I'll manage over here so hurry up and get going, he looks over his shoulder and says "you're saving your siblings, right?"

sakichi's like hoshit BYE and runs off

notbunaga says "ah, today's a particularly nice breeze"

the text says "wishes, envy, radiance... a wind that encompasses people and moves them forward

that person is changing expectations into power"

notbunaga's like ah, I'm expecting things of people... did I get sucked in too...

he says "but it's not a bad feeling. Don't you think so too?"

tanba comes out and says "oda nobunaga", notbunaga says "you came, general" and it ends
