The next time Raleigh walks to the mess hall, he will come across Yancy -- it looks as though Yancy has only just woken up the same way everyone does, dressed in the usual jumpsuit, communicator next to him. Yancy will show the usual symptoms of waking up on the station, but beyond that, he'll be angry at Raleigh, blaming Raleigh for his death. After all, it was Raleigh who pushed to go after the ship...

Of course, that anger won't come out at first, but in the 24 hours after Yancy's arrival, there'll be plenty of opportunity to realise that his brother isn't feeling too charitable toward Raleigh. They've been in each other's heads, it's not like Yancy will be able to hide it.

There's another issue, though: it seems Raleigh is the only one who sees Yancy at all. The only one to whom Yancy is solid. The only one who sees Yancy's ID on the comms devices, the only one who sees Yancy in pictures or videos, should anyone try to use the comms to check.

To Raleigh, Yancy is completely and utterly real and there with no indication beyond other peoples' lack of perception of him to indicate anything is wrong. After 24 hours, Yancy will disappear as though he'd never been there at all.

Yancy could do physical damage to Raleigh that would be perceived by others as well, and he could appear to do physical damage to the environment, but this would be perceived only by Raleigh.
