Between the assumption of certain magics coming into effect to tell them she was fine, and the entire lack of knowledge regarding Body Doubles, there was a lot of pieces she simply failed to act on. Which means it's time to go back to the status quo. Snow is slowly starting to grow patchy or thin around the penninsula, and in turn Reira is entering her more spring related activities. Her homework and schoolwork is done as planned and on time, and she goes through the day eating her regular meals, and doing her regular watch of 'Bunnyip Inquisition', and practicing her nyckelharpa. And of course, doing a bit of artwork. Art class has always been more or less whatever catches Reira's fancy- as long as a lesson can be spun from it at least. Drawing, colouring, painting...her sketches can be eerily on point thanks to skills with memory, but for the most part the emphasis is on making something that means something. Even if something is crayon-wax crayons, or folded snowflake chains, or- "Mnhhh... DO WE HAVE FABRIC GLUE?" comes a shout through the house, Reira working on something else at the dining room table now. She's got plenty of fabric cut apart, a number of straws, some borrowed library book on the table... ...Sky lanterns? Oh, how novel! > Bavan Odd lanterns are appearing at various places in Bavan. They're tied in place by a string, weighted down like a helium balloon. In the day, they seem to be brilliantly coloured things, paper designs glued about the outside. In the night, they're even more impressive- shining with a lovely glow, displaying the shadows through the patterns. And occasionally, checking up on them- or even just setting up another one she made- "Umn! H'llo," Reira starts, having not quite been aware that she was being watched. Soooo.... This is awkward, maybe? |
