Foxglove came to life on the remains of a Nomad battlefield probably just a few days before the Nomads were "chased" off. Confused and lost, they stumbled around the English countryside, getting attacked and hunted down by humans mistaking them for a Nomad. Eventually, however, they ran into a grumpy old man named Mr. Ashby.

Ashby took Foxglove in and generally raised and trained them for a few years. Kept Foxglove safe from outsiders and ready to fight back if needed. Ashby didn't do a lot of good for Foxglove's general education or social graces but tried his best. Before long, some local punks eventually discovered the existence of Foxglove and got together a mob to hunt them down again. With Foxglove unwilling to leave, Ashby was forced to pull a Harry and the Hendersons and attack Foxglove himself to get them to run. Whatever happened to Mr. Ashby and any potential other family he left behind? SHRUGS.

Convinced that no one wanted them, human and Nomad alike, Foxglove vowed to infiltrate University Excalibur to take down everyone that had made their lot in life so miserable.
