[ Accidental thoughts here! ]

III - C-2

[ Roxanne had geared up for this expedition, using the money she got from the galaxy egg she managed to find earlier on. With a backpack full of necessary survival equipment, Roxanne was forced to rely on herself when they landed on the steep and densely forested mountain. She had her experience in the outdoors to thank for this, somewhat. She used to camp a lot with her family once and she had a subtle passion for it enough to be useful in this situation.

Upon arriving at the territory of the giant tree, which made some sounds loud enough for Roxanne to hear from a distance, she approached the area where rocks and large fruit where being thrown in great speed and numbers. Her heart immediately raced, summoning a tonfa on her right hand while keeping her left hand free in case she needs to use her blue gem for shields. She had been hiding from cover to cover, but her sloppy stealth made the sentient tree detect her anyway. It felt like a video game, only with the risk of actually dying from the large boulders being thrown in her direction. The smaller trees and rocks she's been hiding behind get withered by the constant barrage, so she can't stay behind one for too long. With the next plausible cover few second sprint away, Roxanne had to make a decision whether to make a run for it or stay behind a tree that's about to give in from taking a hit from a boulder at full force. The first one seemed to be the only option. Seeing another person on the other side and possibly another near her, Roxanne takes deep breathes to hype herself up. Flicking her wrist, she created a barrier ]

Get behind me, come on!

[ Her barrier is flimsy, but it's stronger than the trees and can take a good amount of hits from the large rocks that just keep on coming like primitive artillery shells. ]

How are we going to stop it? It's too far away!

[ Panic is evident in her voice as she tries to move as fast as she could without tripping on the rocky path in between the tree she was hiding behind and the next one. ]

IV - C-3

[ Reaching the top of the mountain, Roxanne finds herself no longer alone. She feels out of breath as she finds the nearest thing she could lean her back against as she holds her abdomen, taking deep and ragged breaths as she watches the plentiful amount of crystals being harvested. ]

Ugh, water...

[ She utters, having a hard time taking her backpack off with how sore she starts to feel all over her body. She eventually gets it off her back, taking her canteen to get herself a desperate drink of water. Of course, there wasn't much left as the journey to get there was tough already on her not very athletic body ]

Damn it. Just my luck...
