(Look, for my mental image now, please have Luther and Five chilling and watching television together not long after the apocalypse thing. It's rainy, everyone else is doing something or another.

They're sitting next to each other but far enough not to touch, Five mostly playing peanut gallery while Luther maybe tries to explain/defend a character person. They shift in their seats and a little closer together as time goes, until they've been watching something or another Five seems almost satisfied with until Luther realizes he's got a book.

He leans, over a little, trying to see what he's reading and also keep half an eye on the show, and their arms brush, and there's a sort of moment there, and Five starts to just kind of shake but not pull away, and after a moment Luther puts his arm around him.

It's a few minutes before he calms down, and answers Luther's "Are you alright?" with a warning that if he says anything to anyone he'll kill him, stepping off the couch and to elsewhere, and then pops back for just a moment and adds, "And I'm /fine/." before leaving again.

(The records are gone, and they're one of the things Luther thinks he misses most from the house. He puts music on his phone instead and turns off the television to go fuss around some in the kitchen, and put on some fresh coffee.)
