· Ability to spend extended times at sea during varying weather conditions

· Ability to strictly follow the survey protocol after training

· Ability to describe different dolphin behavior after training

· Ability to monitor drone footage in real-time on the ship during all times that drone is operated in rotation with the second drone observer

· Familiarity with line-transect methods https://gen.uga.edu/documents/biodiversity/activities/A%20Line%20Transect.pdf / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transect /

· Fluent English and ability to communicate efficiently with flying bridge observers via radios
