But he also appreciates that she's willing to match his pace be it when talking, or traveling. That and they're on the same page with things. See a bad person doing bad things? Stop 'em! See nice hats? Take a look at them (buying is optional).

Red also won't ever forget her kindness. While it's been undone--the fact she was there when he had to bury his fallen Pokemon will forever be something he's grateful for.

While he doesn't think about it consciously he finds Tallie to be really pretty and cute too! Just overall he likes Tallie the way she is!!! There's no need for her to change, in his mind.
