Although it is available in only a handful of flavours in its country of origin – dark, mint, orange and caramel – the Japanese seem to have gone overboard with it, creating a total of 103 flavours (to date) that include Azuki (red beans), “Brown Sugar Kinako”, Cola and Lemon squash, Citrus Pepper, “Dark Chocolate with Cookies for adults”, Daigakuimo (sweet potato), "Exotic Kansai“, Houjicha (roasted tea), "Lemon Vinegar“, Miso, Ramune (generic “soft drink” flavour), “Relaxation Cacao”, Sakura (cherry blossom), Soy Sauce, “Sports Drink”, Watermelon and Salt, Yakimorokoshi (grilled corn) and Zunda (edamame bean).
It goes without saying that it is the most popular product of its kind in Japan. What?
