He often finds William annoying and embarrassing and downright weird -- by a totally different standard than the one he's used to -- but he can't seem to shake him, or his own lingering attachment to him. He's given to understand that's how brothers are supposed to work, but it hadn't been that way in the other world; that Larry had adored his brother, endlessly and without reservation, and all the more fiercely for his problems.
