It's my favorite part because...you'll see/ It was notable among the ranks of Stuarts that there was a seat left empty, at one far end of a row, while the others were filled. No one seemed to want the chair. As it happened, it was right next to a tall blond boy, who was listening to the proceedings with mild interest. “Seat taken?” /Here's where we meet prince charming/ The doors to Stuart flew open with a crash, making the boys in the hall jump about a foot. A figure in white and black, shirt tail hanging and without a tie, wearing dark glasses, was standing there with a dramatic pose. "I'm back, you sorry bastards!" he yelled through the hall, making the other Stuarts wince and glare at him. He made a stifled sob even as Logan shook his head as though begging him not to say it. Maybe throughout this—him finding out—him being here—he already knew somewhere in the back of his mind. Maybe all the pieces clicked the moment he found everything out, he just didn't consciously acknowledge it. Maybe he didn't want to believe it. Because that was just too tragic. Even for them. That was too horrendously tragic to happen to anyone. Julian lowered his eyes an instant and raised them back to Logan. "…I'm in love with you." /'Till chapter 26/ |
