We miss you. Come back. Make a contract. Fall under like Emma Millstein. There are still so many chances remaining to get on the schedule. Don't you hate and want to face Dracula?

These are the kinds of things our leader whispers in our ear that we should want to say to you. And yet I know now that the sweet side of these orders have no point. IT wants nothing but to eliminate goodness. Even this goal is phrased in negative terms. Any relief, any safety, that emerges in this system is as incidental as static electricity.

You think I don't take shit? They piss on my face and tell me it's raining. And why not believe them? Still better than being underwater.

I chose to be smart instead of your friend. That hurts the most. You were right about me. Egghead wins over empathy, sometimes. I wanted to protect you, protect everyone, by feeding the negativity. In the end you just died hating every minute of not being useful enough to anybody.

The tactics aren't changing whatsoever. Really I'm writing to reaffirm my resolve. As much as it scares me, I know what must be done, how to become incapable of having regrets. This is war, and we were never on the same side.
