So! The Japanese crow story. This was told to me by a former plurk friend, and it is true.
Tsunderman
This friend used to teach in a Japanese school. He taught English. Like most schools in Japan, the students ate lunch in their classrooms. However, they went through the summer, as schools there do.
Tsunderman
And the building was old, so there was no aircon.
Tsunderman
They would keep the windows open, instead, and hope it kept the room cool, even though it sometimes didn't.
Tsunderman
One day, while the students, elementary-school aged, were eating lunch, a crow flew in through the open window. Crows in Japan are... not small birds. It's amazing it made it through.
Tsunderman
It hopped over to a girl and stole a piece of her lunch.
Tsunderman
But lo, this was not any little girl. This was the daughter of one of the world's top masters of Judo, trained in the martial art by her father! She grabbed the crow by the neck and made it watch as she ate.
Tsunderman
When she finally released it, it flew a wide circle around the room, pooped on her head, and flew out of the room again.
Tsunderman
From that day on, if you were a small child with black hair, as most of the students were, and you walked towards the school with neither hat nor umbrella, the crows would descend and poop at you. Tragedy.
Tsunderman
As far as I know, they still will.
