Later, Nicole arrived, furious at Mitchel’s absence when Raegan needed him most. Raegan returned home exhausted, ordering chicken soup for herself, only to be startled by an unexpected presence in her apartment. Fearing a burglar, she instinctively threw the food—only for the lights to flicker on, revealing Mitchel standing in front of her.

Mitchel, as nonchalant as ever, scolded her playfully for "trying to kill her husband," but Raegan couldn't find humor in his words. His presence only reminded her of the deep chasm between them.
