And of course, the day Marianne decides to actually knock is the day that Alice needs to be barged in upon. Of course that's how it would go. Because no way in hell is she going to even consider opening her door to anyone right now. Except perhaps Allison, because they really need to talk. So nope. Not going to the door, though she's clearly at home, lights on and all that. But no. No, she's going to stay inside and drink herself into a coma because she's buggered her only chance to make things right again ever and that deserves a good binge.
