“…I…” She took off the outer garments that she had used to dress up, leaving them strewn on the floor. “I have no need to explain my intentions to you. Although, why did you save me?”

“I have no reason to explain as well,” he replied stubbornly, crossing his arms. He noticed a glint of light reflect off of her Cruxis Crystal, and frowned at her. “You got a Crystal implanted on you, just as I thought.”

“Just as you thought?” she pressed. “What do you mean?”

“Humph. Very well then, I shall explain.” The auburn-haired man let her stand before continuing. “I thought I saw you in Welgaia, and so I followed you.”

“That would explain the odd feeling I had about being watched,” Raine muttered to herself. He raised an eyebrow, and finished.

“You went into the implantation room, and later, I noticed you again. Although, I had to talk to Lord Yggdrasill, therefore I left you be. You got a silly idea of pretending to be a courier – a courier for no particular reason, and I stopped you from dying. Does that satisfy you?”

The half-elf hated being treated like she was a child. That always seemed to happen when she was around Kratos. “For your information, I was trying to find out what an age of ‘Lifeless Beings’ was!” she said, exasperated.

“That is not for you to know. In any case, I shall take you back to Lloyd once I have the spare time. I am currently overlooking a project. You will stay in here.”
