1 2 3 4 5 6 7 | In the evening of July 5th, things will become a little calmer and more quiet for Frank -- literally. Noises are less loud, sounds do not penetrate as much. It will be a welcome change and should he go to sleep that night, he will sleep as well as is usual for him -- and wake up in the morning with his hearing completely gone. Should he stay awake, he will notice it going slowly. Any medical examination, if one is performed, will show that there's absolutely nothing wrong with his ears or anything else. There is no obvious reason for the loss of hearing. Until the 8th, it may seem a welcome change -- but it lasts and it lasts and may seem permanent. On July 7th, he will find his sense of touch decreasing as well until he can barely feel anything (texture, sensation, pressure) anymore. It will seem as though, increasingly, he is being cut off from the world one sense at a time. On the 11th, his hearing will slowly return again. His sense of touch will return the 12th, followed by a brief 3 hour period of oversensitivity in which even wearing clothing will be near-painful. |
