You know, I saw it pointed out that Sawatari has surprisingly little clearly explained motivation, I guess that could also apply to Kusakabe but whatever. But Grandpa has this sidekick with blond hair, who is kinda important because he technically kills Denji and Pochita. Maybe that's her brother. Maybe they're hair dye buddies.
I think when Denji coughed up blood it was the very first time and he was really startled.
When he's cutting trees, you can see they're in the mountains :)
Devils are called "demonios" but Devil Hunters are loanword Devil Hunters. This is actually a lot like the Japanese "akuma" and Devil Hunter.

Pochita was stabbed as well. And Denji was badly dismembered. So maybe that's one reason the fiend approach wasn't used. Denji also says "some devils" so maybe Pochita was already too weak to do it. But we know that in reality Pochita is a very powerful devil...
The "looking for something" music is playing as Denji tries to pull the starter. Very sweet.
I wondered if Zombie recognized Chainsaw. It seems like he doesn't from the dialogue. Then again, that might just be a "completely changed near death form". I want to think that the VRRRRRRRRRR itself scared him without remembering why.
What's very interesting is that at first Zombie's power seemed pretty unique, but now I wonder if it's a lot more like the Chainsaw Man "zombies" in part 2.
"You can see possession on their faces." This is so funny. What if Makima literally just sensed devil possession by scent instead without getting distracted by the face.
Both "persona" and "human" seem to be used. Makima asking Denji to become her pet "mascota" is very funny to me because Public Safety Chainsaw Man is very much a mascot.
