The girl’s skin was illuminated as the sunrays passed into the windows screen. The sun was scorching hot, but it was balanced with the windy breeze which kept on blowing from the outside. She was alone in the empty room, with only one bed and a cold pillow. She was looking below, from the empty room, children playing noisily in the grounds, lovers caressing each other in the across the neighbours’ balcony and an old man speaking a tale of his life to the adolescent women nearby. She wondered why she was always alone when she’s not trapped in her sanctuary. She goes out regularly but could not make any friends. She hated small meaningless conversations and always wanted to talk more; but she could not do it, because she has no friends.
