5. What does your character think about romantic love? Do they have baggage surrounding it? Do they idealize it? Is it an object of longing and wanting, or were they really not thinking about it until it happens? What are their expectations like?

subaru: subaru!!! loves romantic love!!!! he wants to have a relationship like his parents did, and dreams of it someday.... he has some issues he has to work through but he'd like it, though he isn't the type that really thinks about it until it happens. his expectations are simple that they'll make each other smile even when things are bad

kaname: love itself is mostly a foreign concept to kaname, save for familial love... he absolutely had a thing for tatsumi just judging on how he reacted and the like, but he never could recognize it as anything more than wanting to be equal and to shoulder the burned the other had. he wanted to be loved, but that love isn't necessarily romantic or not -- he just wants love. so he has some baggage yeah LMAO!!! ummm i think he'd expect it to be the sort of thing you see in movies and such, read in books, very media based vs how it actually is: a choice.

ren: ren is more in love with the concept of love than anything else; he wants it, craves it, he'll fall in love with pretty much anyone.... or think he does anyway, that's how much he wants to experience it. in reality, his crushes tend to fade and they aren't really as "love at first sight" as he's hoping... his expectations are grand and anything less means its not love.

7. How does your character deal with intimacy? Are they hesitant, or do they like it? What types of intimacy do they like or dislike? (Emotional intimacy, physical intimacy, sexual intimacy...)

subaru: he likes it, in theory. in reality subaru's intimacy is mostly physical and sexual, because he is hesitant to open up emotionally since he doesn't truly understand his own feelings sometimes -- he never learned to process things that were negative, and he swallowed them all down to smile instead. so he could share in positive emotional intimacy, but he finds it more difficult with the others. THAT SAID. he does like them all bc he likes and wants to be open with the people he loves even if it's scary!!!! he's just being held back!!!

kaname: haha. he would love physical intimacy, i think, especially it being initiated to him... though he's quite comfortable with telling people to do things for him and reaching out first. emotionally, he has a lot of issues with himself and his own feelings so he's hesitant to show it to anyone at all -- especially people who are important to him, unless they say just the right thing and he starts to crack. kaname wants to be emotionally intimate, too. he wants to be loved for all of himself good and bad but he thinks people only want the good and so that's all he'll show... sexual intimacy wise i can see him falling into it fairly easy because he'd love to be body worshipped he just doesn't know it yet

ren: ren is... lmfao. he wants intimacy but he isn't sure how to go about it, much in the same way with love! it seems scary. the physical and sexual especially, he's uncertain of himself in the last and he's used to hugs from his family but unless he's in a Role he finds it difficult to do anything in the physical sphere -- even holding hands. emotionally he's pretty sound, it's still easier for him to take on a Role and then talk about his feelings, but at least he will

10. How does your character react to the realization that they like someone else? Is it an “oh my god I’m never going to think about this again” thing, or are they pretty comfortable with it?

subaru: the world changes. he understand so much and wants to show it so badly, even if he's a little hopeless when it comes to not being overbearing af with his feelings. i wouldn't say he's comfortable with it, because he becomes suddenly so aware of how he feels and what he's doing and what if they notice (he doesn't want to make them uncomfortable)!!!! subaru won't avoid them but he is noticeably like. different.

kaname: my man does not realize a damn thing. i think if he did though, aka someone straight out told him he did, he'd deny it until it started falling together and he'd become uncomfortable with it... kaname wants to cling so badly to warmth, and family firstly gives that warmth, but someone else? who could betray him? family doesn't betray, but others can -- people having an unconditional love would be ideal, but it would take a bit for him to accept and be comfortable with his own desire to return those feelings vs feel like he's taking advantage of them

ren: ren falls in love with someone and it is the first thing that comes to mind every time he sees the person and it makes him want to die.
