Whisper-Vipers - Large serpentine predators that emit a constant mental "noise" that drowns out telepathic input. Prolonged exposure can cause migraines, hallucinations, or permanent static in the minds of psychics. These creatures cannot be effected by telepathy, and have armored plates in place of scales, making them difficult to physically harm.

"Nulls" - Small scavengers that have zero detectable mental signature, that function like a hivemind. They are not visible to the human eye, and reflect the environment around them. They are, however, extremely hot temperature-wise and can be picked up using infrared sensors.

Glasswings - Fast-moving aerial predators that communicate via electromagnetic pulses. Their wings are what gives them their name - their texture appears to be similar to glass, and while their bodies are fully visible, their wings are see-through. Looking up at the wrong time can cause temporary blindness, and, oddly enough, over-stimulation via being flooded with the thoughts of those around you.

Barbskitter - Very similar in shape to your generic scorpion, but closer to the size of a large rat. Their stingers are barbed to prevent their prey from escaping, while their front pincers are razor-sharp.

Dunesnares - Burrowing predators that can sense movement and vibration, they wait just under the surface of loose sand and pull their prey under the surface to suffocate them before devouring them. Brute force is useless, unless you are able to force them to surface first.
