I've been needing to replace the back passenger window of my 2011 Kia Sorento for months, but money has been so tight that I've repeatedly had to put it off. I was finally able to afford it recently, though, and when I went to the Safelite web site on the 6th, I was pleased to receive a quote for $241.76. I made an appointment for the 15th and looked forward to finally having this inconvenience cleared away. However, when I arrived at your Alpharetta location on the 15th, the price I was quoted was $386.66, almost 150 more than the web site gave me. The assistant manager said the best he could reduce it to was a little over $300, which was an improvement, but still 60 dollars more than I came in prepared to pay. I had to leave without that replacement window, and I couldn't help feeling like I had been bait-and-switched. Now, to be clear, my complaint is not with the employees at the Alpharetta location. They were very polite and did the best they could to help me. But what they were able to do simply wasn't enough. I understand that a price that's too low would result in the company losing money. But if that's the case, I should never have been quoted that price by the web site in the first place. Thank you for your time. I hope you'll be able to help make this experience better for me. If you can't, I'm afraid I'll have to take my business to another company. |
