Oliver & Felicity - Knights of Legend
First of all, I pulled Felicity right from a spot where things were super "will they or won't they" with her and Ray and things were equally complicated with her and Oliver because legit they just don't have things easy in their own canon. Having this new world and having to rely on only each other - I think Felicity thought that it would turn into the best RomCom plot ever, but instead, she just saw how hard it was to keep going at this pace without the support of their friends. I think she took that step back from trying to look or that moment where they'd be "done" and could start their lives together. She had seen that sort of non-stop back home, but seeing that it's everywhere and that it just doesn't stop because your life has been completely changed where it's being lived gave her that hard perspective that she met head on in canon where she was refusing to help Ray with his suit. She doesn't want the people she cares about to die or get kidnapped or go missing or lie every day of their lives. But that's the life that she's ended up in and it's been difficult for her.

Which is why she was glad that they found something in the Knights, because it meant that they could have those resources and she didn't have to worry about him trying to handle everything.

I'm sure after this first mission, she's thinking they never have to handle anything ever again because they definitely aren't as "special" as they had been in Star City. There's LITERALLY 50+ people that could help with these things and probably more that she doesn't even know about.

I do think that she's hoping that there's going to be that day where Oliver says that he's done enough, that he doesn't feel like he needs to be the "Arrow" anymore - but I also think that she knows that she can't just go back to being an IT girl anymore either. She's going to always be thinking about the 'what if they are really trying to mine resources from the natural environment of this at-risk endangered species?' and she'll want to look into it and try to find a way to stop it from happening.

Basically, Oliver created a monster and no matter how much she fights against not wanting that in her life - it's her life now.

On the other side of that, I think that she's finally getting tired of waiting for a day that will never come and seeing how the team worked on this mission is going to give her a bit more confidence in thinking that they might be able to have dinner that has her dressing up and him picking her up at the door and all of that. Though, she's not holding her breath.
