Last July (so, almost a year now!) I finally launch my own company AND subsequently took over a failing business.

The business is improving, much better than before I bought it, but still not where it should be.

Anyway, the price of buying a failing business and turning it around is lack of sleep, life, socialisation, family...you name it, I don't have it.

It's been a constant 6am-12am or more days every damn day, Monday to Sunday. I don't regret it but I'd be lying if I say I was fully prepared for it.

Remember how during my HR employee days I hated meetings with a passion? Now I spend 80% of my time doing just that...except with suppliers. Still hate it. But now I can't actually say some things need to be emails...because the at the volume we're doing, emails will be out of control in a snap.
