It's cold!” “I'm freezing to death! Who suggested having yakiniku on this heavy snow day?” “Isn't it you?”' The door closed with the tumult of the two girls. They gave a few childish pushes to each other at the entryway before they finally decided to take off their shoes and walked in the room. “Sakura Miko, turn up the heat asap.” “Wait a minute, where is the remote...?” “Are you serious?” They rummaged for a while before digging out the remote from the bottom of the plushie lying on the sofa. At last they could overcome the below zero degrees environment. “Want to have some tea?” “Eh--Any juices?” “You really make yourself at home.” When Miko took two glasses of juices out from the kitchen, she found someone already wrapped herself like a Chlamydomonas with the blanket, nesting in a corner of the sofa, just showing some slightly wet blue hair. “This is the only blanket in my house, nye!” Miko tried to grab some warmth from the blanket. “Mikochi, it's time to get a Kotatsu.” The Chlamydomonas grasped her shell tightly. “This is Miko's home!” With some Miko's angry baby noises and more laughter, Suisei finally agreed to share the privilege of the blanket with the original owner. “Seriously, isn't it good to have a Kotatsu in the house?” “Yah-I want one.” “Right? Let's get one from NiOOri now.” “You aren’t receiving sponsorship from them. Right?” While Miko was making jokes on Suisei's saying, she opened the website on her phone and started to do some serious research. When Suisei was commenting about the pattern and color of the kotatsu half-jokingly, a slightly harsh electronic beep echoed through the room. “Oh, the bath water is ready.” “Oho! When did you prepare it? You're so thoughtful!” “I just pressed it when I was pouring the juice.’ “Then I’ll take it.” “Really haven’t seen you being polite.” “Oh?” Suisei turned back, staring at Miko, a grin appeared on her face. “Or…You want to come together?” “Huh?” Miko felt her heart skipping a beat, nearly dropping her phone. “Why…Why should I come with you?” “Ok~Here I go.” Suisei entered the bathroom without a backward glance. “Th…This fool!” Miko shouted in her heart. When she finally calmed herself down, the screen on her phone was already dimmed. Miko felt frustrated for faltering so long. The running water sound came to her ears. She placed her phone on the table, covered her face and laid down on the sofa. “This is bad…” Miko muttered. If you are asking which is bad, everything is BAD. Suisei visiting her house is BAD. The tone that Suisei seems to imply is BAD. Suisei’s meaningful smile is BAD. Their special relationship is BAD. Not to say the existence of Hoshimachi Suisei herself is already BAD enough. Maybe the worst one is Miko herself. With a glance on the corner of the room, the collection of Miko’s favourite “Sweet” games (including those published by YUZUSOFT) were lining quietly on the display shelf. This is really BAD. The sound of water stopped. The sound of hanging back the showerhead. The sounds of plastic crashing. Silence. Seems she is having a bath. Realizing she was starting to have a picture in her brain, Miko stood up suddenly, walked to her desk with heavy steps and turned on her PC. The notification sound of her Discord rang after the app initiated. Miko entered her Elite working mode immediately, checked the messages one by one and started replying to them respectively. This went on until– “Oh, Mikochi is working seriously.” A smiling voice suddenly sounded above Miko’s head, who is fully-focused. “Arrrr!” “Uh!” Suisei took a few steps before firmly grabbing Miko, who was so frightened that almost fell. “You…You freaked me out!” “You’re really scared! You even jumped up. It’s dangerous.” Suisei laughed. “Don’t make a sudden noise!” Miko complained about it subconsciously, regained her footing with the support of Suisei. “Ah, thank you.” “Er…It’s only you’re too focused. Mikochi.” Suisei replied with a laugh. She felt the body of the girl half in her arms suddenly stiffed, keeping her head down and shouted abnormally loud, “I’m going to take a bath!” “Oh, oh-Take your time.” Watching Miko stumble away inexplicably, Suisei smiled quietly. What a cute guy. Suisei stared at Miko’s PC, thought for a while, and started to control her mouse. With some slightly confused voices and impatient tuts, Suisei nodded with satisfaction, and started chatting with other Holomems on Discord, with Miko’s account. Meanwhile, the real Miko was fighting with her own mind in the bathroom. She washed her hair and body mindlessly. Then she stared at the steaming bathtub, hesitated again and again, finally reached out and pulled the stopper to let the water out. “It’s so cold today.” Miko gave a big sigh in her heart. After putting on the clothes frustratingly, Miko opened the bathroom door. But she didn’t expect Suisei to stand at the door, and was startled again. “What are you doing here?” Suisei withdrew the hand that prevented the other girl from falling, and asked with a slightly surprised and curious eyes: “Won’t you take a bath? It's very cold today." The shrine maiden choked. She coughed, believing that the temperature on her face must be related to the shower she had just taken. "I don't want to have one today." "Is that so-" Hearing the long tail sound of Suisei, Miko raised her eyes, only to see the comet staring at her with a half-smile. She has seen this look countless times, and she knows what it means. Miko sometimes really hates smart people a little bit. "Hey, you’re so annoying. I'm going out." Miko nudged the girl in front of her, and the other side smiled and moved out of the way. "Mikochi, where's the hair dryer?" "There." "Help me out." "You-" While complaining, Miko still took the hair dryer. The two walked into the bedroom. Suisei sat down on the bed consciously. And Miko sat behind her. She brushed the water-blue hair twice with a slightly rough hand, and then started blowing the wilful child's half-wet hair gently. Even with the noise of the hair dryer, the blue-haired child's happy humming still reached Miko's ears. When it was almost done, to Miko's surprise, Suisei turned to take the hair dryer, adjusted the position with Miko naturally and started helping Miko to blow her hair. The continuous humming sound came closer. Miko felt uneasy about this situation, and began pinching the hem of her pajamas. Maybe today's temperature is not that cold. "Okay!" The noise of the hair dryer suddenly stopped. "Th…Thanks." Hearing this unusual low and weak thanks, Suisei laughed. "Huh? What's wrong? Are you shy?" "W-what? I'm thanking you!" "Hmm, you're welcome." "You..." Miko was frustrated. The relationship between them is usually not such a one-sided one, but today she just couldn't get the situation back by any means. Of course, Miko herself knew the reason well. "Speaking of which, wouldn't you feel cold if you haven't taken a bath?" Suisei said, taking Miko's hand naturally and holding it in her hand. Miko subconsciously wanted to withdraw, but forced herself to stop. "I…I’m fine." "I see." The tail sound of Suisei fell, and the room was silent for a while. Miko felt she was panicking, and almost felt sweat dripping out of her hands, causing her to move her fingers slightly embarrassingly. When Miko was about to say something irrelevant, the familiar low female voice came from her head again. "Mikochi, your face is so red." Miko wondered if she had misheard, but Sui-chan’s voice seemed to be lower and more husky than usual. And what she just said was the last thing Miko wanted to hear right now. Her hand was clasped in Suisei's. After a pause, Sui said with a low smile, "So cute." Hearing this, the shrine maiden was full of blood and howled, "You bastard!" She abruptly stood up and pressed the comet onto her bed. Amidst Sui's hearty laughter, Miko sat on Suisei’s waist and gritted her teeth, looking down at the ecstatic girl and threatened, "You bastard, are you provoking me? Don't underestimate me!" Suisei stopped laughing, staring at Miko with her bright eyes full of laughter. "Come on." She said. Miko suddenly froze. Her ears were so hot that she could see smoke coming out. This is bad. After a stalemate for a few seconds, Suisei saw that Miko had no follow-up action. So she stood up, reducing the distance between them to a level that could hear each other’s breath. The shrine maiden heard the low, husky voice ringing in her ears again. "Otherwise I'll take the turn?" Miko subconsciously covered her numb ears, then she felt Sui's hand covering hers. Also a pair of cool lips sealed hers. This is bad. This snowy night is developing in an unexpected but not surprising direction. And Sakura Miko did not resist. The next day. After Miko put Susei into the taxi with a flushed face, she sighed in relief as if she were sending away the last boss of the game. She turned back into her room and found that the room became very quiet. The shrine maiden pursed her lips, suppressing the loneliness she felt, and strode towards the desk. When Miko turned on the screen of her PC, she saw that it stayed on Discord, and there were many long messages and replies of “kusa” from different Holomems. The alarm in her heart rang immediately. She scrolled up and found a bunch of weird comments under her Discord name. HOSHIMACHI–!! She yelled at the culprit in DC, trying to make it clear to everyone that her account was hacked yesterday. While Miko was trying her best to refute the rumor, the computer beeped an unfamiliar LINE prompt, and a message popped up in the lower right corner of the screen. Sui-chan: "Me too^^" Looking at this random LINE message, Miko was confused. She didn't remember having exchanged her LINE account with Suisei. It's better to say that she hardly used this app, not to mention that she just scolded this person in DC. She opened the message box, and in the empty chat window, apart from the message just sent by Suisei, there was only one sentence on it. Mikochi: "Sui-chan, I love you.” At that moment, Miko quickly understood the ins and outs. She covered her red face and screamed silently. It's so bad-- |
