terry lore: terry had grown up similarly to papa, he was raised to be a good christian boy, raised to have a wife and kids like a normal person. terry had never wanted that though. he'd known since he was young that he didn't harbor the same affection for girls like all the other boys, instead he found himself drawn to people like himself: guys. one in particular. marcus (papa). marcus had been sitting by himself, drawing in the dirt with a twisty stick. terry had been enamored with the boy immediately. he had been quick to introduce himself, quick to force the boy into a friendship with terry. marcus. that name plagued terrys dreams. his face always so vivid and real. terry knew in his gut what this feeling was... love. terry loved marcus. loved a *boy*. good boys like terry didn't love boys. that night terry had sobbed, legs pulled against his chest as his small frame shook. terry knew he found never tell anyone, he knew what happened to boys like him. *sinners* like him. he was disgusting. a freak. terry had thrown up all over himself, gagging from crying so hard. at least he looked as disgusting as he felt. he wanted to claw his skin off, he was so gross. terry had tried to avoid marcus after that but he always found himself drawn back in. when marcus had expressed interest in terry, although hesitantly, terry had been ecstatic. he had held marcus as he sobbed into terrys chest, coming to the same realization terry had already come to, had already processed. marcus didn't have that privilege so terry held him as he ugly cried. terry had made it a habit to be as gentle with papa as possible, the boy was broken, they both were. terry could deal with the cuts of his broken pieces, marcus has soft skin. terry would cut himself up for marcus too if it meant living his happily ever after with the man he loved in secret. eventually terry built up the courage to ask marcus to run away with him. terry knew marcus loved him and he knew marcus would say yes. he would ask that night. he would finally be able to live his dream life with his dream boy.
