Happy AIT@41! In today’s #TBT, we happily think back to last year’s reception at AIT’s new home in Neihu to mark the 40th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act and AIT’s 40th birthday. Tomorrow, April 10, is the anniversary of the TRA signing. The Act is the foundation of the ongoing and thriving U.S.-Taiwan partnership. The past four decades have witnessed Taiwan becoming a democracy, a model for the region in so many areas, and a force for good in the world. The U.S. is looking forward to more cooperation with Taiwan for years to come. Check out AIT Director Christensen’s TRA@40 op-ed here:
