Humans aren't supposed to travel to the Mirror District, where the world is twisted and everything caters more to the vampires, werewolves, ghouls, and other supernatural beings that live in the city. Stay out of the Mirror District and you can go about your life not knowing of the things that exist in the darkest shadows.

But if you have the urge to walk on the dark side, or a need that can't be met elsewhere, just walk to the edge of the district and seek out Iago. Only those who know will know where to find him.

A guide, a courier, a salesmen, Iago is many things any any time. He can lead you through the district without a care, safe in his company. He will always abide by any contract he makes, right to the letter. So be careful what deals you make with him and the words you use. Because if there is a loophole Iago will find it. Because defaulting on the deal means Iago gets to keep your deposit, whatever you offered to him as a security to ensure your complaince. Yes, he expects payment, but he also wants insurance that his clients will not cause trouble.

Except when he's the one instigating it. Breaking the contract can have dire consequences, but there have been many who made the deal not realizing what they were offering, not thinking anything could happen that would make them break their word. Your word is your bond and once it's broken, Iago will claim his prize. Whether that be money, your servitude, or your soul.
